Instead of our Full Moon gathering this month of June, we invite you to join us in a Mystery Works inspired celebration for Kathena. There will be three parts to the day, you’re welcome to join for all or just parts.

1-3pm Whirling Ritual, at Boulder Farmers Market & Pearl St. — It has been a dream for months now to gather a group of us together for a whirling “flash-mob”. When I envisioned how I wanted to celebrate my birthday, I knew this would be one way. I imagine many of us wearing long skirts and dresses as we all spin twirl, whirl, in devotion, in ectasis, in love. I invite musicians to join to inspire our dance. Let’s bless downtown Boulder with our whirling prayers.

3:30pm River pilgrimage, at Boulder Canyon — The waters are my favorite place to be, and where I most love to celebrate life. Let’s breathe & sing with the waters, bathe, savor the sweetness of nature’s blessings. Take some moments to BE and be still together, in the arms of the wild & streaming earth.

5-11pm MW inspired Birthday Celebration + potluck, at The Mystery Works headquarters, aka the House of the Mystic. — More details to come. Still dreaming into it.

The Mystery Works will be joining SPORE, The Mycoalition and other community partners in an evening movement medicine in devotion to our medicine movement. Right now we have a powerful opportunity in Colorado to shape the future in partnership with the land, the plant and mushroom medicines, and in community communing in unity.

This will be vibrant night of art, dance, music, and action for us to come together, rally our spirits, and make sure our voices are being heard by local legislators in this critical moment. We'll have a community action/education space and there will be calls to action around the new bill (SB 290) which is introducing amendments to the recently passed Natural Medicine Health Act.

We, of the Wild Tigress Mountain Coven, invite you to join us from 6-9 pm on Monday, April 24th for an hourlong (6-7pm) discussion and Q+A about the Mystery Works and, particularly, Revolution Roll Call, followed by an ecstatic dance party (7-9pm) in the forest with DJ Warren Ji.

The discussion from 6-7pm centers around our community’s land-based regenerative revolutionary work, and Revolution Roll Call, which (to put it as simply as possible for this message) is a ritual invocation of the hereness-and-nowness of our shared stewardship and relationship to each other and to this land. Please come on time (6pm) for the discussion if you’re intending to join, otherwise it could get disjointed and confusing and it’s already mysterious enough.

From 7-9pm, we are stoked to have DJ Warren Ji fill our lil’ beloved pine forest with his drippy beats for us to find dancing ecstasy together. Offering up our illusions and imagined certainties to the heaving and uncertain beauty of the Animate Everything, of which we are hilarious little parts kooking out together very seriously – this is the devotion. Laugh or cry, and both. Get down with your whole Self. At 9, we go quiet out of respect for our neighbors, the deer and the bobcats and the birds who have to get up really early the next day for work.

For Mystery Workers who have already woven their labors into the field, enjoy this ecstatic offering as a perk of your participation! For folks who are new to the weaving, we request $11 per person to nourish the field.
